Scholarship rubric scales for activities, community service, and work
We are working to update our evaluation questions for our selection committees as they review scholarship applications. We are trying to create a scale to measure the quality of students' extra-curricular activities, community service, and work. We want to offer clear guidance to evaluators for why they should give students a 1-5 score. Could you share the wording on your point systems for extra-curricular activities, community service, and work? I'd love to hear how other people give instructions to their committees when evaluating these areas.

Hi Amy!
Excellent question. Scholarship scoring is a question with a lot of complexities! I would look towards these thread as well, to see if any inspire any new thoughts:

This is very helpful! I'm open to even more examples - specifically around how to describe things like "basic", "moderate" "exemplary" when it comes to activities, volunteerism, work, and leadership.
