Scholarship Applications

Does anyone know if there is a requirement to obtain the date of birth, gender and citizenship for a scholarship applicant? Our current scholarship applications ask for this information, but I couldn't find anything online that says it's required.

I think that would be dictated by the fund agreement. For example, if the document requires that students be a US citizen to apply, then the application should have that field.

I think @DebraWhite succinctly answered that for you!

Also, if you do choose to ask these questions (for data collection purposes), consider making them Applicant questions so evaluators don't have to be bothered/biased by the responses.
