Here is our fee structure for scholarship administration: SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS A fee of 1.0% will be assessed annually for scholarship funds administered by MCCF. If the application process is administered by MCCF, an additional 1% fee will be assessed annually. Let me know if you have any questions about this. Celeste

We don't cut the check until we are asked to. A letter goes out to all fund advisors with their distribution amount available, and then they can choose to reinvest by not asking for a distribution.

Thanks @KaraGeiger We are 4 people, and mostly working from home, with some time as necessary at the office. None of us travel much, since we are only county specific. Currently, we are thinking we'll go back June 1, but that date keeps changing based on local, state and federal recommendations, so we'll see.

@KaraAdams Thank you...I saw the star and marked it...And then I saw the post about following certain groups and I already updated my preferences!

@KathyWhitlow I like your suggestions! You're right...working with someone at the same time we learn of a new feature would be fabulous

Thank you @LisaStachula for sharing this follow up form. There are several ideas I have pulled from this.

Is there a way to "follow" this post?

@LornaSandberg and @MeghanWarrick I agree with you, as well. I have worked in different areas of the nonprofit sector since high school and didn't find "home" until almost 8 years ago when I was hired to work at my local community foundation. I have a Director who demonstrates that family is important and encourages her…

Our Youth programs are currently on pause...My attention has been place elsewhere. However, 1 of the programs the youth had just started was to offer food (in the form of a healthy snack) at their high school. I had just purchased SO MUCH FOOD and thankfully, the district we are in was able to take the food and distribute…

I would love to utilize this type of training! Sometimes hearing tips from other users in the system is so helpful - they answer questions I didn't know I had! Getting away isn't always a feasible option, so virtual offerings would be welcommed.

As my husband and I were walking through our neighborhood yesterday, we walked on the campus of our local grade school, where I attended 4-5 grades. During my time there, we planted trees on Earth day. Those trees are now full grown and provide beauty and shade. :)

I love all the pictures!

Very helpful article. Thank you @AshleyHarper

Hi Carol! My family lived on the West side of Indpls for a few years...and it is one of my favorite cities. Though we thoroughly enjoyed living in Indiana, we ended up moving back to Central Kansas when we started our family.

Hi Elizabeth! I have a brother who lives in Brooklyn, and we love to travel there. In what part of NYC do you live?

Hi Darah!

Our scholarship application deadline was February 15, and therefore was not impacted. The part of the process we have delayed is for the scholarship committees to determine their awardees. Our office has put that on hold until we return to the office (which will hopefully be Mid-May).
-
Our Foundation only requires a scholarship agreement, which allows us to gather information to send the check directly to the school.

We have an ongoing survey and have asked organizations / local small businesses to keep in communication with us regarding their needs as we continue through.
