In today's Coffee Talk we discussed how Scholarship Managers are connecting with their donors to communicate the impact of their generosity. How are you using social media to connect with your students?

Hello all! So during the coffee talk, I spoke on our thank you video and mentioned that we provided the recipients with a few prompts. I've included a screenshot of said prompts. Please note that we did utilize the thank you videos that were submitted with our virtual scholarship celebration, so you will see that mentioned in the image I've provided along with a few video taking tips! :-)
Here is the flowchart we use at WYCF to help donors determine whether a scholarship is right for them. The main goal is to prevent schoalrships from being set up that don't really support students, or are so niche that they create a huge amount of work with minimal actual grantmaking to show for it. We're also working on a piece that will be a follow-up to this - once a Donor has made it to "yes" on this chart, this new piece will ensure they know current figures on costs of higher education, communities that currently have need, etc.
