501(c)4 organizations
Good Afternoon,
I am running across an issue and I was hoping the community could help me! I recently had a donor wanting to use their funds and when I looked up the organizations they are both 501c4 organizations. I entered the grant and I was able to approve the one organization and make it eligible to receive grants. The other organization though gives me an error saying it
did not pass: pub78 verified was not true and it won't even let me over ride it to make it an eligible organization. I know I can go into the profile and mark it so that they don't have to have a charity check, but I'm really trying to understand why 1 501c4 was one way and the other is not? Also, to see if your organization would still grant to the 501c4 that says it didn't pass pub78?
Any help or advise on this would be greatly appreciated!!
