Award Displacement Language

I was on a coffee talk yesterday Re: WORKING WITH COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES, and someone mentioned that they use Award Displacement Language in their check letters. I would really appreciate if someone could share that verbiage.
Thanks😊

Hi Debra! I participated in that coffee talk and this was some of the language that was shared: By cashing the enclosed check, the institution agrees that any reduction in aid from other sources will come from student loans or work-study. Any part of this scholarship that would cause a reduction in another grant must be refunded to the Foundation.
