Hi @LaurelShulman, I'm circling back on this thred as our community foundation reviews and seeks improvements to our fund liaison approach. I'm curious to know if you did move forward with the approach of assigning staff portfolios based on engagement preferences of the donors, and if so, how that's going. Additionally, do…

In the last year or so we’ve held donor / fund holder education on the following topics: Community Issue Briefings (these were also open to our Board and grant committee members): Regional Housing Challenges Behavioral and Mental Health Childcare: The Economy and Our Future Immigration Today: How does Northern Colorado…

Posting the recording of the webinar we hosted in case it's helpful for anyone else providing proactive resources/education to their nonprofit agency funds.

Hi Sally, Happy to share ours: Grant_request_header Use this form to request a new grant distribution from your fund. 1. Select a grantee from the drop-down lists or enter a new nonprofit. 2. Hi all - our northern Colorado team onboarded GLM last year and we are in the process of transitioning to CSuite as well. Who else do we have representing CO?!

Hi @SallyHermann, We're looking to revise our fund agreements this fall as well. I'm interested in hearing about this idea of a universal template and viewing others' who may use this concept as well. Thanks for starting the conversation!

Hi @ClaraHansen, We just switched to GLM from using multiple, disjointed systems. We have done the first iterations of our roll-out over the past few months. Just a caution – we’re still figuring out what process will work the best for us, but we’ve talked through this first round with our onboarding customer success…

Hi @DavetteSwiney, Scholarships are just a small part of what we do at the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado (about 3% of our 500+ funds under management). We are also looking to update our scholarship program and policies, so I'm interested to continue following this thread. To answer your questions: 1) We do…

Hi @KateClavijo. Here's a link to our videos. https://nocofoundation.org/history-archive/videos/ We use videos to share updates from our community foundation, highlights of specific funds or donors, and this one (though a littled outdated in the statistics now) does a great job giving an overview of our services:

Great questions, Tom! We don't currently have such policies, but it's interesting to consider. Looking forward to reading others' responses.
-
@HeidiFindlay , Thanks for your response! We had a super informal (and inconsistent) process previously. I've created this matching form that we're going to try using and see how it works. I'd love to turn it into a fillable PDF form at some point.
-
@LaurelShulman - we update the collected donor information manually in our CRM.

This is a great discussion thread! We also usually have reviewer committees of 3 people. We have a few scholarships where the donors have requested more than one of their family members be involved and like others, in that case we just have to have at ladsts 51% be community volunteers with no involvement with that fund.…

Hi Renee, November-early December we sent a survey to our DAF advisors. Here's the link for your reference: https://form.jotform.com/82615088815160. We plan to use a similar survey as part of the "on-boarding" process with new donors from here on out, too. Would love to see what others may be able to share as well.…
