I love any discussion about gratitude! Yes, showing thanks to donors is important, but are we showing the same appreciation to one another? A organization that puts gratitude front and center in all things may find it easier to show gratitude to the many donors, volunteers, stakeholders, and other supporters.

The best advice I received is to make friends with people who are professionally a little further ahead of me. People I can learn from and ask questions. We all have questions when we get started. I've learned over the years that the only stupid question is one that is not asked.

I love that you are doing this for yourself and your team, Diane! I also use OOO all the time. Just engaging it lets me know it's ok not to respond to email and the person on the other end knows when they will hear from me.
