Resource or Referral on Board of Directors Training for Grantees

Our Foundation recently held a 2-day conference / event for our grantees. In my post conference survey, the topic many organizations desired to have continued discussion, training or an additional presentation on the whole area of the Board of Directors, specifically Board Development, expectations of the Board, etc.

We are in Southern California, and I'm wondering if anyone has a good resource or referral to either on-line content, a training, or even a speaker. I believe having a live speaker to present and then able to ask questions, and facilitate discussion would be ideal. Appreciate any input or referrals.

As a note, our Foundation specifically funds non-profit organizations that are providing services, treatment (residential or outpatient), education / prevention, community outreach, etc. for those that have been impacted directly or indirectly by alcohol and/or drugs.
