Hi all, my name is René Ballesteros and started as Development Manager with Latinos in Heritage Conservation in late June! We are growing national nonprofit and I currently work remote in South Texas.
I worked as a graduate fellow with LHC in the spring, and I loved their mission and vision. I am excited to be helping with heritage conservation work, leadership development and making an overall impact through relationship stewardship and fundraising.
I recently served a quick stint as a Grant Proposal Writer at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and before that I was served for 13 years at the Museum of South Texas History in Edinburg, Texas. There, I worked in Community Engagement, Education, Programs and Events, Collections Management and Visitors Services. I am currently pursuing an MAIS in Anthropology at UTRGV.
