#TuesdayTip: What does it mean when an answer is marked "accepted"?

As you may know, you can do more than just start a new discussion here in Compass! You also have the option to create a poll or ask a question!

When a new question is posted, and while it remains unanswered, it will appear in the Unanswered Questions list:

You can help your peers by reviewing these questions and replying with your suggestions and resources!

When a response to a question is posted, you'll see "Does this answer the question? Yes or No"

Selecting "No" will keep the question in the queue. The person who posted the response will not receive any notification that their answer was not accepted.

Selecting "Yes" will promote that reply and the person who posted the response will receive points toward their status on the Compass leaderboards. If that person has their notifications are set-up accordingly, they will receive a notification that their answer was accepted.

The question, once it has an accepted answer, will be removed from the Unanswered Questions list but not from Recent Discussions..

Responding to unanswered questions or marking replies as accepted answers is a great way to support your peers and the Compass community!
