How is everyone preparing for the year-end spike in activity in a virtual world?

My spike has never slowed down during the pandemic. Perhaps it's because I work for a hospital foundation and people have been hugely supportive of our fight against the virus.. And, perhaps it's because of what I do. I'm the director of trusts, estates and gift planning, so a very niche sort of fund raising. I think we are setting a record this year for the number of new endowments and estate gift notifications. Of course it is almost all done via phone and email.
We're a major gifts operation, so we will pick up year end giving, but I suspect not nearly as much as organizations that focus primarily on direct response fund raising. A lot of our year end work will be gifts of stock, qualified charitable distributions from an IRA and gifts through a DAF.
