Siesta Week

Some of Foundant's clients take a Siesta Week -- a full week off to rest and recover. Because Foundant's clients do this, we think Foundant's staff should do this as well.

Do you think the Foundant staff should take a Siesta Week?

Many of your clients don't close for a week and we need support available during the times we're open.

Yikes that's a hard one. I use support for Foundant almost weekly - it would be difficult if they were unavailable for a full week (and then had to bury out of requests). At the same time- I totally believe in full shut downs where EVERYONE can be off! I think the only week that has ever made sense in my work in nonprofits is 4th of July - summers are usually slower. But some people close their years June 30th. I will have to say no for now unless there was more information shared about when might make sense!

PS - we DO NOT close for a week ever so we are not one of those Foundation! :)

  • Just a note here...@justinmiller is not a Foundant employee. Justin started this poll as his first ever Compass discussion just for fun. 😉
