Professional Development for Grant Professionals
I just wanted to start a fun conversation around professional development for grant professionals. Our organization just conducted a benefits and compensation analysis, which gave us some really great insight for professional development opportunities to grow with the organization or beyond.
So, with that said, I am just curious to hear from others what your professional development goals look like as a grant professional. Despite being an executive director in the past, one of the things I have on my list is to be more proficient in project management so that I can more effectively propose and implement new grant program ideas with a well thought out plan in place and consideration for how that connects to the organizations overall strategic plan and priorities.
