Who is your audience?
Quick group question for everyone:
We’re all creating these super informative, dynamic, interactive reports — but who’s going to be using them in your organization? Are these for internal people only? For me it's Admin's only. And it's just me and one other Admin.
I’m asking because understanding our true audience might shape how we design and share these going forward.
Thanks!

I think our audience will grow as features and our understanding of the product grows. For now, we are more so using data visualization as an alternate to reporting and is mostly internal, with myself really being the only user.
In the future, we would love to be able to include dynamic visualizations in our Board Packets or presentations! Maybe even one day embedding some data onto our website.
But as of now, since dashboards can only be shared as a static image, our best use so far is more for internal discovery rather than external sharing.

Thank you, and I agree -

Our audience is staff and board but we would also like to include some data and images on our annual report for the public.

I built a report that I envision as a download for our board packets. It can be easily replicated to highlight key grants awarded in geographic areas near where they meet. While it doesn't easily show narrative highlights (such as "impact of funds"), I added some pull quotes that do the trick. We would share it as a PDF with them, but the dynamic filtering will be used internally to narrow or widen the scope of the data as needed for each board packet.
