WOW! August 2021! That's a long time!

With the holiday season upon us, I thought I'd jump in and share my grandmother's Cornbread Dressing recipe. It's a recipe passed down through several generations and our Thanksgivings have never been without this yummy goodness! 💜

@HollyCrain Our foundation provided all the necessary tools... a new computer, a webcam, etc. Everything else was already in place at home. No extra stipends, just the 'musts' for working at home.

@KaylaMyers We sent out a blanket email to all of our grantees, indicating that if they needed an extension to please contact our office. Once that email went out, I was busy on the phone for about two days, but then things leveled out and those that needed it got the extension and if they didn't need it, the deadline…

@MicheleSchmidt Under the circumstances of this COVID pandemic, our Board was so very receptive to offering help with technology equipment. The recipients were so very grateful....often moved to tears. It's such a necessary request in these chaotic times. :-)

We also require a signed "Conflict of Interest Policy" document each year from both of our two staff members, and all of our Board members.

@KentWeimer I am confident that if we had more than just the two of us, we would all be working remotely. I confess I have fluctuated between wishing I were home and grateful for not being confined.

Hands down, my favorite new WFH accessory is this AWESOME Logitech BRIO Webcam with 4K Ultra HD video. Yes, webcams can be purchased for much less.. this one was $199, but it was worth EVERY penny because of the incredible clarity on this baby! I just say, THANK YA BOSS! 😉

LOL - You're oh so CLOSE! Our pups are called Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. They are typically much smaller than most other spaniels. Bred to be playmates for the children of King Charles of England and oh, my gosh, are they the best little breed....tender, sweet. AND CUDDLY!

And then here is our Abigail. Abby is THE most cuddly dog we've ever had! She is glued to my side at almost all times. My computer desk is in this spare bedroom so when she can't be nuzzled up next to me, she perches on 'her' pillow until I'm done. 💗

This is our Toby. EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, he brings my husband his slippers and then lays his head on them until hubby is ready to go to bed. 💙
