Emergency Preparedness Plan?

Any organizations have an emergency preparedness plan and would be willing to share? Has your organization discussed how they will respond?

I think @LisaStachula and the QC Community Foundation have done some great work in the Disaster Preparedness area! 😁 Lisa, would you be willing to share some of the things your foundation has done and is continuing to do?

Hi Crystal! We have been part of a cohort of organizations convened by The Funders Network over the past several years to discuss preparedness, response and recovery relating to disasters. I am attaching a workbook that was developed by the Center for Disaster Philanthropy and TFN, that is a great comprehensive resource relating to disaster response and recovery. I am also attaching our nonprofit disaster plan workbook, which is more of an actual "plan". This nonprofit workbook was created with the help of our Illinois extension office. I'm not sure what state you are located in, but the extension office of your land-grant university might be a good resource for something similar. These are both several years old, so some of the links included and/or other info might be outdated.
